Qualifications

• Certified through Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (Teaching or Substitute certification).
• Strong content knowledge to teach elementary students.
• Ability to differentiate instruction in mixed-ability classrooms.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow the lesson plan left by the regular teacher.
• Maintain a safe, orderly classroom conducive to learning.
• Supervise students during transitions and drills.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
