Universal Stainless is seeking a Long Product Operator to support manufacturing by operating and monitoring equipment for long steel products. You will load, position, and handle materials, monitor flow, and ensure safety and quality throughout the process.

The role begins as a utility position with on-the-job training, with opportunities to advance into the posted title as qualifications are met. Day-to-day duties emphasize teamwork and adherence to 5S and PPE standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic math and read measurement tools.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Strong work ethic with reliable attendance.
• Flexible to learn multiple processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment used in long product production.
• Load, position and handle steel products through the process.
• Monitor material flow and ensure safe, efficient operations.
