Job summary

Corrosion-Materials is seeking a Long Product Operator to load, unload, and move metal bar and pipe to the required machines and departments. You will pull starting stock, process orders, and maintain accurate paperwork to ensure efficient production flow.

The role requires 2+ years warehouse experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong communication, organizational, and safety awareness are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years warehouse experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload metal bar and pipe to appropriate machines and departments.
• Pull starting stock material according to work orders.
• Maintain paperwork for order processing.
• Process bar code tags for material.
• Deburr all cut material coming from the saw.
• Ensure material is marked with alloy, spec, heat, and size before shipping.
• Manage inventory through cycle counts and exception reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Abide by safety program and training.

Summary of Position

The LongProduct Operator is responsible for the loading, unloading, and movement ofmetal bar and pipe to the proper machines and departments as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

As aminimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties andresponsibilities expected of the Long Product Operator position. These dutiesare not exhaustive and are subject to change as the needs of the organization require.

• Pullstarting stock material for all machines according to work orders and processit according to the work order.
• Maintainproper paperwork for order processing.
• Processbar code tags for material.
• Deburall cut material coming from the saw.
• Ensureall material is properly marked with alloy, spec, heat, and size beforereleasing material to shipping.
• Manageinventory through cycle count and exception report inventory counts.
• Keepa clean and safe work environment.
• Abidewith safety program and training.

RequiredQualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years warehouse experience
• MicrosoftOffice proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

PreferredQualifications

• 2+ of warehouse machine operating experience
• 1+ years of pipe operating experience
