Job summary

The Howard University Hospital is seeking 3 Research Assistants to support a federally funded study on Long COVID prevalence and risk factors in Washington, DC. You will recruit adult participants, obtain informed consent, administer surveys, and manage data in REDCap.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in Sciences or related fields, research exposure, and strong organizational skills; Spanish is a plus. Travel to community locations may be needed, and a competitive salary is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sciences, public health, or health-related fields.
• Previous research experience, clinic/hospital work or volunteer experience preferred.
• Spanish language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Screen electronic medical records to identify eligible study participants and contact them in a timely manner.
• Obtain informed consent following research protocols and GCP guidelines.
• Administer survey assessments and enter data in REDCap.
• Perform and document risk assessments.
• Attend mandatory study trainings and team meetings.
• Schedule follow-up visits and assist the follow-up team.
