Job summary

Wayve is hiring an IT & Security Manager to own the platforms and controls that power the company. You will lead a distributed team across the UK, Germany and the US, shaping the security platform and automating manual work. This is a build role, with the team and headcount already approved under the Head of IT.

You will manage identity, endpoint, device and asset lifecycle, SaaS, and licensing, collaborating with central Security and engineering teams to implement robust security controls.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an IT, security or infrastructure team with hiring and performance management.
• Hands-on background in corporate IT platforms: identity, endpoint management and SaaS administration.
• Proficiency in Linux fleet management alongside Mac and Windows.
• Security operations experience: endpoint hardening, vulnerability management, incident response and access reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the operation of corporate security controls across identity, endpoints and asset lifecycle.
• Partner with central Security on policy, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Own Okta and platform that supports joiners, movers and leavers with evidence of access revocation.
• Lead a distributed team across multiple countries and time zones to scale the security platform.
