Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Distribution Technician to support daily operations by receiving, storing, distributing, and replenishing medical and non-medical supplies across the organization.

You will ensure accurate inventory, timely delivery, safety, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with clinical and non-clinical teams to maintain stock levels and support uninterrupted patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior ERP/WMS experience and ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Driver's license required; forklift certification within 2 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipments and inspect for damage; generate receiving documents.
• Enter data from PO/memos into ERP systems and attach barcodes.
• Resolve receipt/delivery issues promptly via phone/email.
• Enter receiving information into systems and organize deliveries.
• Deliver merchandise using a box truck and forklift equipment.
• Restock, pick orders, and perform cycle counts to maintain inventory.
• Transport beds/equipment for repair as needed and ensure cleanliness.
