Job summary

Inteva Products in Michigan seeks a Warehouse Operations Leader to supervise shipping/receiving, inventory accuracy, and container management on the manufacturing floor. You will coordinate with production and logistics to ensure on-time deliveries and adherence to ERP records, driving continuous improvement and safety standards.

The role emphasizes forklift proficiency, SOP adherence, and collaboration across customer portals and internal teams to optimize dock operations and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be a hands on person, willing to work on the manufacturing floor.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Prior material handling and warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP and PLEX preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (not required current).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations: on time delivery of components, warehouse replenishment and returnable container management.
• Optimize warehouse manning in conjunction with shipping/receiving schedules, production requirements, customer demands and vacation scheduling.
• Access customer portals to obtain shipping/tracking information for advance shipping notices in ERP.
• Arrange shipments via customer portals and ensure compliance with routing requirements.
• Maintain and manage dock codes, routing changes in customer portals, and ERP reflectance of shipping instructions.
• Manage reporting, tracking, repair scheduling, and disposition of customer-owned returnable containers.
• Ensure standardized work is followed and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
