Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Miami, FL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead shift operations in our logistics facility. The role is salaried, with schedule Wednesday–Sunday and a base annual pay of $71,987.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED, Required
• 0 to 1 year in direct supervisory/leadership experience, Required
• 1 year or more in experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment., Preferred

Responsabilités

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes to meet company and customer specs.
• Establish work schedules and procedures; coordinate activities of workers for optimal shift performance.
• Be accountable for site KPI and drive performance toward targets.
• Collaborate with the customer in all aspects of operations.
• Hold regular team and individual meetings to monitor progress and coach performance.
• Promote diversity and inclusion to enhance cooperation and process improvement.
• Carry out performance evaluations and recommend merit recognitions when appropriate.
• Address performance issues through corrective action and disciplinary procedures.
• Ensure health, safety, security initiatives, and policy adherence.
• Provide orientation and tools to employees and Lead Hands to perform their jobs.
