Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a motivated Coordinator, Warehouse & Deliveries to join our Las Vegas operations. You will supervise freight deliveries, manage warehouse inventories of hoisting and rigging parts, coordinate with vendors, and supervise the local fleet to keep construction and service projects moving.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, DOT box truck certification, forklift certification, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• DOT certification to drive a box truck.
• Forklift operation certification.
• Strong verbal communication skills to develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive F-250 up to a box truck to coordinate and make material deliveries and pick-ups.
• Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise freight deliveries and schedule daily truck driver deliveries.
• Manage a high number of warehouse products including parts related to hoisting and rigging.
• Handle communication and relationships with multiple vendors.
• Supervise the local fleet of company vehicles.
• Manage the storing of inventory and the distribution of PUIs.
• Communicate with service operations managers and others.
• Handle distribution of partial shipments for active jobs.
• Lead distribution and relocation of kits for construction crews.
• Oversee test-weight inventory and distribution to test locations weekly.
• Conduct inventory control, PPE ordering, shipping/receiving, and tool/equipment management.
• Contain waste oil and schedule pickups with vendor per regulations.
• Arrange and deliver parts, equipment or test weights to jobsites.
• Maintain warehouse vehicles and warehouse in safe order.
