Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Honolulu, HI office to oversee shipment, requisition, and storage of materials. The role focuses on inventory control, shipping/receiving, and tool management to keep equipment up to date.

The position requires 3-5 years in warehousing, strong teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Valid driving record and forklift operation are essential. A DOT exam is required and a valid commercial vehicle license is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehouse and/or inventory management experience
• Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
• Strong verbal communication to develop expectations with customers
• Lift up to 50 pounds and have a clean driving record
• Ability to drive F250 & F350 (1 ton+) trucks for deliveries and pickups
• Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) exam
• Drive forklift

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory control, parts ordering, shipping/receiving, and tool/equipment management
• Contain waste oil and schedule pickups with waste oil vendor; ensure proper documentation
• Prepare and submit required paperwork for state taxes on hazardous waste shipments
• Arrange delivery of parts or equipment to jobsites
• Track and submit paperwork for city parking permits; provide fleet administration support
