Job summary

Oerlikon, Plymouth facility, seeks a Logistics Coordinator to receive, verify, and process shipments, pack and prepare products for shipping, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely pickups. You will maintain warehouse organization, support inventory counts, and work overtime during peak periods.

A high school diploma, 3–5 years of material handling, forklift experience, and SAP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; industrial or trade school training preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions in English.
• 3–5 years of material handling or warehouse experience, including picking, packing and putting away materials in a production environment.
• General computer proficiency, including Windows, Microsoft Office, and internet-based applications. Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Forklift operating experience preferred. Willing to work overtime during peak periods.
• Ability to comply with ISO requirements and other internal and external regulations.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to receive, ship, load, unload, move and store products and materials in a safe manner that assures material will be safe from damage and accurately accounted for.
• Read work orders and oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Maintain organization of raw/finished goods in the warehouse.
• Assist in quarterly/yearly inventory counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team and/or mission
