Job summary

GLOVIS America, Inc. seeks an EC W&D Manager to oversee transportation and warehouse operations across Drayage, OTR, Intermodal, and specialized services, with a focus on the Savannah Warehouse and Third-Party Logistics (TPL) business.

This role leads carrier coordination, cost management, and customer support while driving process improvements and operational excellence. Located in Duluth, GA, the position requires leadership of cross-functional teams, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7-10 years of Freight Forwarding Operations (Ocean, Air, Drayage) Transportation Management (OTR, Intermodal) experience
• 1-3 years supervisory experience
• Automotive or manufacturing logistics experience preferred
• CSCP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily transportation and warehouse operations including Drayage, OTR, Intermodal, Heavy Haul, inbound/outbound distribution, inventory management, and value-added services (VAS)
• Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and operational standards
• Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle count programs
• Manage inventory accuracy, warehouse capacity utilization, labor productivity, and order fulfillment performance
• Lead warehouse SOPs, process controls, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage transportation networks, carriers, ports, rail terminals, and third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless supply chain execution
• Monitor KPIs, customer service performance, transportation costs, warehouse expenses, and profitability targets
• Lead customer reviews, QBRs, issue resolution activities, and service improvement initiatives
• Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and operational optimization while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
