Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in Transportation, Distribution, or Manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop non-exempt associates in daily operations.
• Maintain on-time deliveries with a Full, Fresh and Friendly mindset.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate schedules and deliveries.
• Follow programs, policies, and practices to improve transportation/service opportunities.
• Identify and design technology/procedural solutions to boost productivity.
• Support problem solving with supervisors and managers for scheduling.
• Communicate with stores to resolve delivery issues.
• Maintain records for mileage, fuel, repairs, and expenses.
• Track trailers using Orbcomm technology.
• Establish delivery routes and monitor expenses.
• Execute backhaul program with ORAD compliance.
• Communicate activities to align business, people, and safety metrics.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive work environment.
• Lead regular meetings and huddles to inform workforce.
• Coach and train direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
