Qualifications

• Knowledge of transportation industry standards, procedures, and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple demands.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and integrity.
• Proactive in identifying process improvements and optimizing workflow.

Responsibilities

• Receives product delivery orders from internal and external contacts and coordinates transportation with storage facilities, transport companies, and sales personnel.
• Arranges schedules and dispatches suitable transport vehicles for loading at designated locations.
• Maintains computerized information and records (load status, 3PL orders, on-time arrival statistics) and approves invoices for payment.
• Coordinates after-hours shipping and receiving and tracks deliveries to ensure timely completion, communicating potential delays.
• Investigates and resolves transportation-related issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
• Generates accurate, timely reports and contributes to a culture of teamwork and customer focus.
