Job summary

Valmont is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to coordinate transportation for all orders, ensuring efficient, cost-effective shipping from galvanizers. You will plan, schedule, and communicate with customers and carriers to meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in logistics or traffic, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with TMS is a plus. Travel is minimal and the environment is fast-paced.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with TMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day logistics activities for transportation of products.
• Monitor and adjust transportation methods to maximize asset use and minimize costs.
• Prepare loading/shipping documents and master finisher schedule.
