Job summary

XPEL is seeking a Logistics / Transportation Coordinator to manage the coordination, booking and execution of transportation lanes, while coordinating with warehouse, sales and support teams.

You will bid outbound/inbound freight, select carriers on cost and customer expectations, optimize transport planning and contribute to transportation spend analysis, with up to 25% travel and the ability to lift 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• Results-driven with a keen ability to make sound decisions.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with warehouse, sales and support teams to bid outbound/inbound freight and select carriers based on cost and customer expectations.
• Optimize transport planning for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide analysis and recommendations on transportation spend.
• Generate and maintain relationships, including rate negotiations, with 3rd party carriers.
• Review vendor bookings and approve/reject bookings based on operational and financial impact.
• Champion continuous improvement projects to reduce freight spend.
• Assist with the development of international shipping documentation and export compliance guidance as needed.

• Optimize transport planning in the most efficient way for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide analysis and recommendations specific to transportation spend.
• Generate and maintain relationships, including rate negotiations, with existing and new 3rd party carriers.
• Review vendor bookings and provide approval or rejection of bookings based on operational and financial impact.
• Champion continuous improvement projects to reduce overall freight spend.
• Assist with the development of international shipping documentation and provide guidance on export compliance requirements as needed.
