Job summary

XPEL, Inc. is seeking a Logistics / Transportation Coordinator to manage coordination, booking and execution of transportation lanes.

You will work with warehouse, sales and support teams to bid freight and select carriers based on cost and expectations, while optimizing transport planning for customers and internal stakeholders. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 2+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• Results-driven with a keen ability to make sound decisions.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as needed.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound/inbound freight and carrier selection based on cost and customer expectations.
• Optimize transport planning for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide analysis and recommendations on transportation spend.
• Negotiate rates and build relationships with 3rd party carriers.
• Review vendor bookings and approve/reject bookings based on operational and financial impact.
• Champion continuous improvement projects to reduce overall freight spend.
• Assist with development of international shipping documentation and export compliance guidance.
