Job summary

SBT Global, Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage delivery appointments with major retailers and coordinate with carriers and internal teams.

You will monitor shipments, resolve issues, update portals, and maintain accurate reports while building strong relationships with customers and transport partners.

This role requires 3–6 years in logistics, proficiency with Excel/Outlook/Word, and a detail-oriented, fast-paced work ethic.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in logistics, transportation and customer services preferred.
• Experience scheduling delivery appointments preferred.
• Familiarity with retail customer portals such as Walmart, Target, Costco, Amazon, Sam’s Club, or BJ’s.
• Experience working with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule delivery appointments for major retail customers, including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, Costco, Amazon, and BJ’s.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, internal transportation teams regarding shipments and delivery schedules.
• Request, confirm, and update delivery appointments through customer portals.
• Monitor shipment status and follow up on late, delayed, refused, or rescheduled deliveries.
• Prepare and review appointment confirmations.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments and provide customers with accurate ETAs.
• Resolve delivery issues, appointment conflicts, shortages, damages, and other customer concerns.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment and customer information in the internal system
• Respond to customer emails and phone calls professionally and promptly.
• Escalate urgent transportation or customer issues to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain daily shipment reports, appointment schedules, and tracking spreadsheets.
• Follow up with carriers to ensure appointments are met and deliveries are completed.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and transportation partners.
• Support the logistics team with daily operational tasks.
