Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Transportation Associate to manage material transportation, vehicle operation and inspection, and related duties in a warehouse setting.

The role requires prior warehouse experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will operate a box truck when assigned, pull orders, and enter data into CMS while supporting team goals and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license.
• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with coworkers.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Proficient in CMS.
• Must have clean driving record for past three years & pass DOT drug screen if assigned to drive box truck.
• Ability to stand all day, stoop & bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to meeting production demands and quality requirements.
• Understand Customer requirements as they relate to their job function.
• Ability to identify and address and/or communicate any potential non-conformances.

Responsibilities

• Transporting materials to and from facilities.
• Load/unload truck.
• Inspect truck and follow safety protocols for vehicle inspection.
• Operate forklift to load and unload parts off trucks.
• Use tow motor and identify core locations.
• Pulls pick ticket orders.
• Enter data into and review information in CMS as needed.
• Participate in various improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
