Job summary

Dorman Products in Lewisberry, PA is hiring a Warehouse Associate - Box Truck Driver to support material movements, loading and unloading, and keeping safety protocols. The role requires a valid PA driver’s license and prior box truck experience, plus data entry and CMS skills.

You will operate a forklift, work with team members, and participate in continuous improvement activities while meeting production demands and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid PA Driver’s License.
• Previous experience driving a box truck.
• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with coworkers.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Proficient in CMS.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license.
• Must have basic computer/data entry skills.
• Ability to stand all day, stoop & bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have clean driving record for past three years & pass DOT drug screen if assigned to drive box truck.
• Commitment to meeting production demands and quality requirements.
• Understand Customer requirements as they relate to their job function.
• Ability to identify and address and/or communicate any potential non-conformances.
• Ability to get to work on time with minimal absences.
• Working Conditions: Noise level is usually moderate. Warehouse temperature may reach up to 90 degrees during Summer months.

Responsibilities

• Transporting materials to and from facilities.
• Load/unload truck.
• Inspect truck and follow all safety protocols for vehicle inspection.
• Learn & follow detailed work instructions.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities listed below.
• Operate forklift to load and unload parts off trucks.
• Use tow motor and identify core locations.
• Pulls pick ticket orders.
• Identify and sort incoming product and takes bins from sorting stations and scans to appropriate locations.
• Store parts in designated location.
• Pull parts needed for production and ship to main plant.
• Enter data into and review information in CMS as needed.
• Participate in various improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
