Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a forklift operator in the Louisville area to load and unload trucks, locate materials, and replenish picking locations. The role requires operating sit-down forklifts, stock pickers, and reach trucks with adherence to safety protocols.

The position demands daily equipment checks, accurate logging, and ability to follow work orders and standard procedures. OT may be required, and the role is based at our Kentucky facility near Shepherdsville.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to pass forklift license test.

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized industrial equipment (sit-down forklift, stock picker, reach truck).
• Perform daily checks of equipment prior to operation.
• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Use hand-held RF scanners.
• Adhere to PPE and safety guidelines.
• Maintain logs and required documentation.
• Follow work order instructions to perform assignments.
• Follow documented procedures with accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.
