Job summary

Vesta Home in Pico Rivera, CA is seeking a Logistics Trainer who alternates between onboarding new logistics team members and serving as Delivery Lead on active jobs. You will model best practices, supervise on-site teams, and ensure safe, professional installations while coaching for continuous improvement.

You have at least 1 year of leading delivery or field logistics, strong communication, and comfort with training trackers and mobile tools; a valid license is required for field work.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a Delivery Lead or equivalent role.
• Deep knowledge of product handling, wrapping, truck loading, and assembly.
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture (75+ lbs)
• Strong communicator with ability to train peers in one-on-one and group settings.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding for all new field logistics hires (Drivers, Helpers, Movers).
• Deliver structured training in the warehouse (Days 1–3).
• Supervise ride-alongs (Days 4–5) and provide real-time coaching.
• Guide new hires during Week 2 on real jobs with increasing independence.
• Track completion of training milestones and communicate readiness to managers.
• Assist in rolling out monthly logistics refreshers and SOP updates.
• Lead the execution of assigned delivery routes.
• Supervise drivers and helpers on site; ensure professional install standards.
