Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Logistics Specialists for its Work Based Learning Program (WBLP) in Ohio. The entry-level role reports to a site location and offers a 12-month training track in logistics, data center operations, and safety certifications.

Trainees will support inventory, shipments, and vendor communications, with 24/7 operations and potential travel within the regional area. This program emphasizes hands-on experience and career growth within AWS infrastructure services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to participate in shift rotations for 24/7 data center operations.
• STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education preferred.
• Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems preferred.
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordinating with a Manager.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

Responsibilities

• Vendor and team communication including data entry, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving inquiries from cross-functional teams.
• Ensure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated and ready for processing.
• Assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials.
• Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations.
• Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company is required.
• Traveling with personal vehicle within the regional work area is required.
• Successfully completing the 12-month Work Based Learning Program training curriculum, including all required safety certifications, technical competencies, and performance mile
