Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA is seeking Logistics Specialists for the Work Based Learning Program. This trainee role supports data center operations, procurement, and inventory management to keep parts flowing and stock levels optimal.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to participate in shift rotations to support 24/7 data center operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
• Knowledge of computer hardware components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vendor and team communication including data entry and coordinating with suppliers.
• Resolve inquiries from cross-functional teams.
• Assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for shipment of merchandise and materials.
• Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pickups.
• Travel within regional work area as required.
