Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Logistics Specialists as part of our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP) in Ohio. This entry-level role reports to a site location and offers a 12-month work and training program across AWS facilities.

You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, and operations managers, delivering safe, efficient warehouse and data center operations while gaining safety certifications and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Are 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to participate in shift rotations to support 24/7 data center operations.
• STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education.
• Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems.
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

Responsibilities

• Vendor and team communication including data entry, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving inquiries from cross-functional teams.
• Ensure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated and ready for processing.
• Assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials.
• Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations.
• Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company is required.
• Traveling with personal vehicle within the regional work area is required.
• Successfully completing the 12-month Work Based Learning Program training curriculum, including all required safety certifications, technical competencies, and performance mile.
