Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Traffic Specialist in Minnesota to direct and coordinate transportation of finished goods to customers, warehouses, and storage facilities. You will collaborate with transportation consultants to optimize methods and routes, schedule shipments, and address any discrepancies.

This role requires a High School diploma (1–2 years preferred) with proficiency in Word/Excel and keyboarding.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Keyboarding skills.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate routing and mode of transportation for shipments.
• Collaborate with transportation consultants to improve methods and procedures.
• Stay informed about USPS, UPS, FedEx, and freight industry updates.
• Schedule shipments and notify departments/customers of arrivals.
• Investigate causes of damage, shortages, or overcharges.
• Support bulk shipments coordination and distribution point contacts.
• Assist in studies on packaging, warehousing, and loading procedures.
• Gather data to assist department budgeting.
• Represent Thomson Reuters in relevant industry groups.
