Job summary

Lineage in Hart, MI is seeking a warehouse associate to compile and maintain shipment records, plan driver assignments, and check loads in and out. You will serve as the main contact for drivers, coordinate with the warehouse, verify data in the system, and help ensure timely, accurate shipping documents.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills may be required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius.
• May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan and direct driver’s assignments including check-ins, door assignments, and post-load check-out.
• Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure accurate, timely shipping documents.
• Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system.
• Notify carriers and team members of pending or unscheduled arrivals.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler.
