Job summary

Monster Energy in Rogers, AR is seeking an Analyst, Logistics TMS to manage day-to-day transportation activities, track shipments, and prepare customs documentation. You will analyze transportation data to identify trends, set up new lanes in TMS, coordinate container bookings, and generate regular reports to optimize carrier selection and inventory movement.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in business or supply chain and 1-3 years experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and BI

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in transportation, warehouse, or inventory management.
  • 1-3 years of experience in creating and presenting high level reports of data analysis.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Intermediate SQL; Experience with Power BI & Tableau; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze transportation data to identify trends and inefficiencies. Ensure data being analyzed and presented is accurate.
  • Manage freight lane data within Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and lead process for setting up new lanes; minimize disruptions.
  • Interact with internal departments, country managers, external customers and freight facilitators to ensure data integrity and address issues.
  • Manage daily/weekly/monthly/annual transportation reporting; design deployment models; optimize carrier selection and lanes.
  • Schedule container bookings to fulfill customer orders and production planning; coordinate shipment of Premium and Apparel commodities.
  • Maintain container log to track shipments and ensure inventory movement and billing trigger dates are accurate.
  • Provide information to warehouses and freight forwarders to coordinate timely loading and shipping documents; meet customs clearance requirements.
  • Coordinate prepayment of customs clearance fees and assist in procuring bids on shipping lanes.
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure product availability, adherence to QC guidelines and packaging standards; ensure audit documentation.

A Day In The Life

In the position of Analyst, Logistics TMS, you will be responsible for day-to-day logistic activities, tracking shipments, ensuring documentation and funds are provided for customs clearance. Analyze transportation data to identify trends and inefficiencies.

The Impact You'll Make
  • Analyze transportation data to identify trends and inefficiencies. Ensure data being analyzed and presented is accurate.
  • Manage freight lane data within Transportation Management Systems (TMS) system and lead process for setting up new lanes in TMS as needed. Use knowledge and skills to find solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Interact with various internal department personnel, country managers, external customers and freight facilitators to ensure data integrity, accuracy and address customer issues.
  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly, annual transportation reporting for data analysis. Analyze data and design new deployment models as needed and based on data analysis, work with management to optimize carrier selection, lanes, and call out data that does not align with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • Schedule container bookings to fulfill customer finished goods orders and/or production planning of raw material needs, as well as coordinating the shipment of Premium and Apparel commodities.
  • Maintain container log to track shipments accurately so that trigger dates for inventory movement and billing are reported accurately.
  • Provide necessary information and documentation to warehouses and freight forwarders to effectively coordinate the timely loading of shipments and prepare necessary shipping documents or work with customer service personnel to ensure that all customs clearance requirements are met.
  • Coordinate prepayment of customs clearance fees and assist in procuring bids on shipping lanes.
  • Effectively communicate with various internal departments to ensure product availability, adherence to quality control guidelines and packaging standards and ensure that required shipping documents are on file and maintained for the specified audit requirement period.
Who You Are
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
  • Between 1-3 years of experience in transportation, warehouse, or inventory management
  • Between 1-3 years of experience in creating and presenting high level reports of data analysis.
  • Computer Skills Desired: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Intermediate SQL experience. Experience with Business Intelligence Software such as Power BI & Tableau. Other experience with BI software a plus. SAP experience preferred.

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range

$19 - $26 USD
