Job summary

Dow is seeking a Logistics Technician for the Lone Star Operations in Deer Park, TX. The role involves coordinating the movement, storage and shipping of raw materials and finished products, operating pumps and valves, and ensuring adherence to EH&S procedures.

The candidate will work with engineers, operators, schedulers and lab technicians, load/unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials, and enter data into SAP while maintaining quality control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Legal work authorization in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload products to railcars, tank trucks, isotainers, and flexitanks.
• Enter Load In/Complete and Shipment Complete in SAP.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment isolation per safety standards.
• Operate pumps, valves, and basic control systems; monitor levels and temperatures.
• Train new distribution operators and support team capabilities.
• Work with engineers, operators, schedulers, and lab technicians to move product safely.
• Collect samples for quality control and process paperwork accurately.
