Job summary

Dow is seeking a Logistics Technician for the Lone Star Operations in Deer Park, TX. The role involves loading and unloading products, managing storage and SAP data, and supporting daily plant operations with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental stewardship.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma, valid US driver’s license, and the ability to work in the United States. Preferred candidates may have 1+ year of experience or related certifications and an associate degree.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
• US driver’s license valid.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Load product into railcars, trucks, isotainers, and flexitanks.
• Unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Perform product storage, hose switching, scale house operations, and railcar cleaning.
• Enter Load In/Load Complete/Shipment Complete in SAP for all shipments.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and equipment isolation.
• Operate pumps, valves and other equipment; monitor process parameters.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Work with engineers, operators, schedulers, maintenance and lab techs to move product safely.
• Obtain and process product samples for quality control.
