Performs advanced mechanical, structural, or other manufacturing and assembly operations.
Executes complex, multi-step manufacturing and integration assignments in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, process documentation, and configuration requirements.
Interprets complex engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, manufacturing plans, and technical documentation.
Performs detailed inspections, measurements, functional tests, acceptance tests, and other verification activities.
Sets up, operates, troubleshoots and makes authorized adjustments to specialized manufacturing, inspection, and test equipment. Performs complex rework, repair, modification, and troubleshooting activities.
Diagnoses and resolves complex manufacturing, assembly, tooling, equipment, and test problems using technical knowledge and established methods. Makes recommendations for process requirements of new and existing processes.
Supports new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, production qualification, and transition of products from development into production.
Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Records production, inspection, test, material and traceability information accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
Coordinating shipments with carriers such as FedEx and freight companies
General logistics coordination associated with incoming and outgoing materials
Advanced working knowledge of relevant manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and test processes.
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, schematics, and specifications applicable to assigned work.
Demonstrated proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision measurement equipment, fixtures, and production/test equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
