Job summary

University Health System - San Antonio is seeking a supply chain associate responsible for receiving, staging, shipping and delivering supplies and equipment across the health system. You will follow prescribed procedures for asset tagging and safeguarding property until delivery confirmation to the appropriate responsibility center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of college or commercial courses related to supply chain management preferred.
• Six months to one year in inventory control, receiving, delivering, and movement of supplies and equipment preferred.
• One to two years of materials management experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Computer data entry wireless devices and materials management information system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stage, ship and deliver supplies and equipment throughout University Health System.
• Follow SOPs for receipt, tracking, asset tagging and safeguarding of University Health System property until delivery confirmation to the appropriate responsibility center.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs various duties in relation to the receiving, staging, shipping and delivery of supplies and equipment throughout University Health System. Follows prescribed standard operating policies and procedures for the receipt, tracking, asset tagging and safeguarding of University Health System property until delivery confirmation to the appropriate responsibility center occurs. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. One year of college or commercial school courses related to supply chain management or materials management is preferred. Six months to one year in inventory control, receiving, delivering, and movement of supplies and equipment is required. One to two years of materials management experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. Computer data entry wireless devices and materials management information system experience is preferred.
