Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions. The Technician I - Logistics will perform shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance tasks in a on-site warehouse environment in Montgomery, AL, with occasional forklift or vehicle operation as required.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 2 years in a warehouse, proficiency with SAP/Spectrum and MS Office, and the ability to

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum two years in a warehouse environment.
Basic understanding of operating systems (SAP, Spectrum).
Intermediate skills using Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must meet Company minimum driving standards and be able to use power tools.
Regular attendance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Package, label and tag warehouse inventory.
Log daily activities including receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing materials.
Conduct cycle-counts and manage daily log.
Enter material into IES Inventory database.
Load and unload goods and ensure proper handling.
Maintain warehouse quality by tracking damaged inventory and reporting it promptly.
May operate forklifts and company vehicles.
Follow 5S organization and Lean principles.
Carry out all task assignments efficiently.
