Job summary

Inw Group in Benicia, CA is seeking a Logistics Technician I to inspect shipments, unload materials, and support inventory control. You will interact with drivers, perform seal inspections, and verify packing slips against POs to ensure accurate shipments.

Responsibilities include safely operating carts, forklifts, and other warehousing equipment while adhering to cGMP and PPE requirements. Training and cross-training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must have a basic understanding of operating systems used for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Must adhere to and follow all safety requirements/policies and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Comply with OSHA, cGMP, and company initiatives/policies including PPE and safe material handling techniques.
• 1+ years’ work experience using Microsoft Applications.
• 1+ years’ experience in receiving, unloading trucks and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Inspects shipments (FTL and LTL) for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies Supervisor and/or Purchasing personnel.
• May deliver sort, count, package, label, insure, unpack, and/or log inventory received from FedEx, UPS or other.
• Interact with drivers on a regular basis.
• Perform seal inspections frequently throughout the day in all weather conditions.
• Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slip with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment; process return shipments from customers.
