Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Logistics Technician I for the East Aurora NY/Buffalo area to join our on-site team on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) with a 10% shift differential.

You will package and prepare shipments, receive materials, and move parts between plants while maintaining accurate labeling and traceability. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), a valid NYS driver’s license, and shipping/receiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply English work instructions.
• Background in shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Package and prepare products for shipment per written and verbal instructions, coordinating delivery with trucking companies.
• Ensure cleanliness of parts prior to packaging.
• Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
• Occasionally drive and/or deliver parts between plants/buildings.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging to comply with contractual requirements and complete documentation.
• Maintain traceability of materials and verify material matches vendor documentation.

Job Title: Logistics Technician I

Reporting To: Inventory Control and Stockroom Lead

Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY

This role offers a 2nd shift, on‑site schedule at our East Aurora NY location, Monday-Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM plus 10% shift differential.

To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• A background in shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.

As an Logistics Technician I, you will:

• Package and prepare products for shipment per written and/or verbal instructions; includes coordination and scheduling delivery with trucking companies.
• Ensure the cleanliness of parts prior to packaging.
• Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
• Occasionally be asked to drive and/or deliver parts from one plant/building to another.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging to comply with contractual requirements, appropriate documentation completion before and after shipments.
• Maintain traceability of materials, including verifying that material matches vendor documentation and marking materials with trace numbers.
• Material movement throughout the shop Inventory stocking.

Salary Range Transparency
