Job summary

Moog in Buffalo, NY seeks a Logistics Technician I (1st Shift) to ensure accurate and timely shipment of flight-critical components and to maintain inventory traceability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will package, label, and coordinate with trucking partners, receive materials from vendors, and help move parts between plants while upholding Moog's uncompromising quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Package and prepare products for shipment per written and/or verbal instructions; includes coordination and scheduling delivery with trucking companies.
• Ensure the cleanliness of parts prior to packaging.
• Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
• Occasionally drive and/or deliver parts from one plant/building to another.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging to comply with contractual requirements, appropriate documentation completion before and after shipments.
• Maintain traceability of materials, including verifying that material matches vendor documentation and marking materials with trace numbers.
• Material movement throughout the shop
• Inventory stocking.

What you’ll need to bring

• High School diploma or GED preferred.Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• A background in shipping and receiving is preferred
• Must be able to utilize computers and computer systems

Salary Range Transparency

Buffalo, NY $22.00-$25.00 Hourly
