Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Mechanical Assembler to prepare circuit breakers for shipment and support assembly operations in our grid solutions facility. You will load materials, follow APS standards, and read Bills of Materials while collaborating with engineers and production staff to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Applicants should be reliable, flexible for weekend shifts when needed, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, while upholding safety and environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading of trucks and containers.
• Supports continuous improvement plans for the area.
• Interface with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding assembly procedures and results.
• Follow APS standards and all EHS rules.
• Ability to read a Bill of Materials.
• Able to multitask.
• Ensure proper care in the use of maintenance equipment, supplies; promotes workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to move or hoist materials to proper areas.
