Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Team Lead in Charlotte, NC to oversee shipping, receiving and warehousing activities. You will guide material handlers, forklift operators and shipping clerks, ensuring safe, accurate and timely operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will manage daily workload, coordinate carrier cut-offs, review performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement using Lean, 5S and WMS workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED requirement is mandatory.
• 1+ year of warehouse/logistics experience with WMS and barcode scanning.
• 1+ year of leadership experience in a logistics setting.
• Overtime may be required based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, improve safety, quality, productivity, delivery and cost in warehouse operations.
• Ensure safe material handling, forklift use, dock work and storage practices.
• Meet daily shipping throughput, receiving processing, and packing accuracy goals.
• Lead daily assignments for material handlers and shipping clerks.
• Coordinate carrier cut-offs and communicate delivery expectations.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities in freight, labor and storage.
