Job summary

Maverick Transportation, LLC is seeking a leader to provide direction for a group of over-the-road drivers. This position focuses on optimal asset use, meeting daily customer needs, and serving as the primary liaison to grow the business while controlling costs.

You will collaborate with drivers and internal teams to secure loads, manage staff, assess performance, coach, hire, and enforce policies. Lean logistics and clear reporting are essential to deliver value to the customer.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge across accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
• Equivalent to a four-year college degree with 12–18 months related management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a group of drivers, optimizing asset utilization and meeting customer needs.
• Serve as liaison between the account and Maverick to ensure effective information flow and performance.
• Provide key factor reporting, analyze data, and communicate customer needs to Maverick staff, focusing on cost management.
