Johnson Brothers Maverick of Texas is seeking a Delivery Manager to direct and oversee delivery-related operations across the state. You will manage fleet resources, coordinate dispatch, routing, and DOT compliance to ensure safe, on-time service.

This full-time role requires strong leadership, problem-solving under pressure, and the ability to work with drivers and cross-functional teams. A CDL is preferred, and candidates should be comfortable with field travel and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery personnel and assist with discrepancies and/or complaints.
• Understand tractor/trailer components; ensure proper DVIRs.
• Approve quotes for company-owned fleet and supervise maintenance.
• Assist with dispatching, routing, and tracking using OT1 and SAMSARA.
• Travel to cross-dock locations across the state.
• Maintain fleet in compliance with DOT/FMCSA standards.
• Ensure drivers meet DOT qualifications and keep records.
• Schedule and organize team day-to-day activities.
• Ensure fleet registration and state/local compliance.
