The LEGO Group in the United States is seeking a Logistics Systems Specialist to oversee automated equipment in the Materials WH area and optimize material flow. Imagine leading the operation of cutting-edge automated logistics systems to ensure seamless material flow and production efficiency. As a Logistics Systems Specialist, you'll drive operational excellence and innovation in the Materials Warehouse (WH) area.
As our Logistics Systems Specialist, you'll oversee the operation of automated equipment such as conveyors, elevators, shuttle cars, and robots in the Materials WH area. You'll ensure the LEGO Production team meets production plans and product quality by maintaining logistics equipment and managing warehouse software systems like WMS, SAP, and others. Your role will involve optimizing material flow, applying contingency plans, and collaborating with departments to minimize operational impact. You'll also participate in continuous improvement projects and coordinate maintenance activities.
You’ll lead logistics operations to ensure efficient material handling, guide teams on automation capabilities, and improve logistics quality through data-driven recommendations. You’ll support process standardization and documentation, partner with stakeholders across the value chain, and expand the use of automation tools across the organization.
The Materials WH department is responsible for receiving, storing, and delivering materials to production areas according to LEGO standards. You’ll work with a team of specialists who collaborate closely across functions, taking ownership of your work and approaching challenges with a practical mindset. You’ll thrive by building strong relationships, supporting others’ learning, and contributing to shared goals.
Success means consistently delivering stable logistics performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work closely with colleagues and partners across the value chain to strengthen capabilities, improve processes, and create lasting impact.
Ability to work on a 12-hour (2-2-3) shift pattern. Some minimal travel maybe required No relocation will be provided
The salary for this position has a range of $84,674.00 - $127,010.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
