Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee third-party logistics operations across production planning, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, distribution and transportation. You will drive OTIF performance, cost control and process improvements within the SLFB network.

The role requires strong analytical and data-management skills, experience managing multiple 3PLs, and contract negotiations for freight and warehouse services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred and relevant job experience required.
• Strong analytical skills and data management expertise.
• Experience in managing a Warehouse/Distribution Center.
• Experience in contract negotiations in Freight and Warehouse.
• Experience in managing multiple 3PLs.
• Experience in network modeling and design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Third Party Logistic Providers to ensure OTIF shipment deliveries (90%+).
• Partner with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Customer Service to facilitate shipping.
• Manage and maintain all shipping paperwork and data.
• Develop a budget and implement plans to reduce shipping costs.
• Drive continuous improvement/productivity initiatives.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy across SLFB locations.
• Source and implement transportation and warehouse providers.
• Lead carrier partnerships to ensure assets and schedules meet needs.
• Ensure shipments are ready for pickup per cut-off times.
