Job summary

Pace Runners, Inc. in Birmingham, AL is hiring a Logistics Supervisor to lead a team of drivers, fleet and equipment operating seven days a week.

You will manage operations to budget, analyze performance metrics, ensure DOT/FMCSA/OSHA compliance, and communicate with customers and our corporate office.

This role requires strong leadership, routing experience, and proficiency with MS Office, with shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of dock leadership experience in Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• Routing experience preferred and ability to lead a team.
• Strong customer service skills and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor a team of drivers, fleet and equipment.
• Oversee operations to budget and analyze performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA/OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and on-site personnel.
• Oversee reporting to corporate office and customers.
• Lead training and development initiatives and manage shifts.
