Pace Runners, Inc. in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead a drivers and fleet team, ensure budget adherence, and optimize operational performance daily.

The role requires coordinating with customers and internal teams to meet schedules and quality standards. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of dock leadership experience in logistics, routing experience, and proficiency with dispatch systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of dock leadership experience preferred in Transportation/Logistics.
• Routing experience preferred; familiarity with dispatch systems.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor a team of drivers, fleet and equipment that operates 7 days a week.
• Oversee and manage operations to budget.
• Analyze operations and service performance metrics to achieve optimum results.
• Supervise compliance with DOT/FMCSA/OSHA regulations and requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers and on-site personnel.
• Oversee and/or complete timely reporting to corporate office and customers.
• Manage to the business model and oversee training and development initiatives.
