Murray Resources is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced Houston manufacturing environment. The role oversees S&OP, procurement, inventory, and distribution while coaching and developing the supply chain team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years in supply chain with 2–3 years in leadership, and SAP experience. Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred. Direct Hire, full-time, Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including S&OP, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
• SAP experience required/Nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Lead the S&OP process, aligning demand, supply and production capacity.
• Oversee procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing, supplier performance and cost efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
• Supervise warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Coordinate distribution and logistics to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as OTIF, forecast accuracy and turnover.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and ERP transactions.
• Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes.
• Coordinate with Production, Sales and Finance for alignment.
• Ensure safety, quality and adherence to company policies.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead and develop the supply chain team, driving performance.
• Promote efficient use of resources and cost control.
• Report deviations and risks to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant supply chain experience will be considered
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement within industrial or manufacturing environments
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including S&OP, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution
• Experience working in fast-paced or high-demand operational environments
• Bilingual Spanish - strongly preferred
• SAP experience
