Job summary

Clayton Services seeks a Logistics / Supply Chain Supervisor in Humble, TX, to lead daily supply chain activities across planning, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and distribution. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or materials experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience overseeing multiple areas of the supply chain—inventory, warehousing, purchasing, planning and distribution—strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supply chain, logistics, inventory, and warehouse activities.
• Coordinate demand, supply, and production planning to support manufacturing requirements.
• Manage inventory levels and help prevent material shortages, excess inventory, and production interruptions.
• Oversee purchasing activities and supplier performance to support quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound distribution activities.
• Monitor supplier performance and assist with resolving material, quality, and delivery issues.
• Develop and monitor supply chain performance metrics, including inventory accuracy, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory and supply chain transactions within ERP systems.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement corrective or preventive measures.
• Partner with production, sales, purchasing, and finance teams to support operational requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Lead, train, and develop supply chain and logistics personnel.
• Maintain compliance with company safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Clayton Services is searching for a Logistics / Supply Chain Supervisor to join a thriving manufacturing company in the Humble, Texas area. The Logistics / Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing supply chain operations, including planning, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution, while ensuring materials and products move efficiently throughout the organization.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $75,000 - $100,000

Logistics / Supply Chain Supervisor Responsibilities:

• ERP experience required; SAP experience is highly preferred.

Logistics / Supply Chain Supervisor Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
