Job summary

Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) in Fort Carson, CO seeks a seasoned logistics professional to develop strategies and manage distribution, inventory, and asset accountability for military programs.

You will perform day-to-day property book operations, maintain automated authorizations (GCSS-A), and coordinate with internal and external customers to ensure on-time delivery and accurate records. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Ten years of professional logistics experience.
• Extensive Property Book experience required.
• G-Army certification and property book experience preferred.
• Must be a US citizen eligible for a Government Secret Clearance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing logistics support for accountability, management, and daily logistics execution.
• Maintain automated authorizations on the Property Book STAMIS system (GCSS-A).
• Perform daily property book postings and reconciliations with subordinate units.
• Identify shortages and coordinate backfill via Lateral Transfer Directives.
• Prepare hand receipts, transfer, and turn-in documents to the appropriate section.
• Train subordinate personnel in basic supply and property book procedures.
• Review and validate monthly Unit Status Reports for accuracy.
