Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a Project Engineer in the Logistics & Storage Engineering (L&SE) group. You will oversee a portfolio of projects from concept through start-up, ensuring safety, design integrity, and value delivery across MPL facilities.

You will collaborate with multiple departments, prepare bids, and support design reviews while traveling up to 25–35% and maintaining a strong safety culture.

Formación

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
• Zero to three years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license for work travel.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilidades

• Manages and delivers a portfolio of projects through the Marathon Project Management Process (MPMP) phases: Conceptual, Feasibility, Definition, Implementation, Start-up/Close-out.
• Collaborates with affected departments to vet resource estimates, schedules and safety impacts.
• Prepares bid requests for materials, labor, and equipment and evaluates proposals on engineering and business grounds.
• Supports multiple projects concurrently from conception to commissioning and start-up.
• Acts as a safety leader, drives safety meetings, and supports energy isolation procedures and HES goals.
• Troubleshoots operations and optimizes processes using sound engineering practices.
• Participates in project safety reviews such as HAZOPs, PHAs, PSSRs.
