Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support daily warehouse operations, with emphasis on hands-on floor activities, finished goods inventory, truck loading, and outbound driver coordination. The role also handles essential office and documentation duties, with most time on the warehouse floor.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, managing inventory, conducting weekly counts, and ensuring accurate shipping records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with shipping, receiving, and inventory management experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification and safely operate a forklift.
• Proficient with basic computer and data-entry tasks; maintain pallet tags, logbooks, and shipping documents.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail; able to collaborate with multiple departments.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely to move, stage, store, and load product.
• Manage finished goods inventory, warehouse locations, product identification, and material accuracy.
• Conduct weekly physical inventory counts; reconcile variances and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate arriving drivers, dock assignments, and adherence to facility procedures.
• Verify bills of lading, packing lists, driver documentation, and other required shipment records.
• Create, print, and apply pallet tags; maintain accurate outbound and inventory documents.
• Coordinate finished goods transfers and communicate issues to Quality Assurance and other departments.
• Identify and report damage, inventory discrepancies, equipment concerns, and unsafe conditions; maintain orderly docks and storage areas.
• Load outbound trucks; verify pallet counts, product identity, and shipment condition.
