Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a qualified Forklift Operator to ensure safe and efficient operation of sit-down forklift equipment in a fast-paced warehouse. This role involves moving, loading, and unloading shipments with attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and be able to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's license is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 55 pounds and working at heights or in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload shipments.
• Pick and prepare material for shipment with accuracy and correct load counts.
• Verify load accuracy and inspect for product damage; report discrepancies.
• Manually stack up to 55-pound bags per customer instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all procedures.
• Comply with OSHA and SDS standards and conduct daily equipment inspections.
• Assist in inventory accuracy and participate in counts.
• Communicate concerns promptly to warehouse leads or management.
• Perform duties as assigned.
